WEB 2.0 Learning Opportunity, UI, Ibadan, 4-8 October,2010

Knowledge they say is a veritable tool that moulds the human community or society. The Web 2.0 course organise by the CTA is a legacy that will change the way majority of elites view and have been under utilizing the web. The course did not only expose the veritable tools available for accurate and purposeful surfing of the web but the fact that it has bettered our understanding of sharing and collaborating as it relates to information and data management. It is now very possible to share information in languages that was never possible to me before using google tool bar thereby making collaboration, publishing and networking possible through participatory web development with other professional colleagues around the globe. It has also made it possible to be able to understand the tenets and way of life of people in several remote area in my country as it affects their existence.  This will enable us now as research scientist in various field to fit in to the culture of this people to be able to change their perspective to primitive production and supply system practised and to be able advertised their good and services thereby making themselves relevant to the Nigeria development. I will just say thank you to CTA for the wonderful opportunity and hope it will continue so that several professionals can benefit.
